Though this product lives in what is called "mini-seasonal," there is nothing "mini" about developing a mini-seasonal holiday collection.
Each delivery begins with a postmortem (hehe, pun intended) recap and brainstorm on what can be improved upon and what else could be learned from the previous year's data. Then we dive deep into trend, and if our trend takes us to a chocolate shop in New York, we do it...for the product, of course.
From there we get into artwork then product development. The artwork is also shared with national branded foods and consumables to further extend the reach of the collection in the form of Target exclusives.
